Help
Last week on the hump update of Gamehounds. Edie and Simon DI discussed the horrible voice acting of a game called Chaos Wars.
Well, While at work, I heard it being brought up in the RPGamer podcast. They played a little bit of it in the podcast and it was hilarious. Later that night, I watched the whole beginning of the game. From what I gathered. This was game is a fan service SRPG.
Behold, one of the worst forms of voice acting. Maybe the CEO shouldn't have used his family.

I think with Oblivion, they just blew their whole VA budget on Patrick Stewart I think. I know, let's get this highly regonized person to VA in our game. That is going millions and millions of copies!
I mean, it is a great game but I can agree that most of the VA is terrible.

I remember the voice acting in Megaman 8 being so bad that I couldn't take the game serious - so I destroyed it. Dr. Light sounds like Elmer Fudd and MM is voiced by a girl along with F-grade translation. Best voice actor had to be the dog in that game - Ruff.

Bad Voice overs huh?
Oblivion is up there... but doesn't anyone remember the Blue Stinger for the Dreamcast.. or hell even the original Resident Evil before the remake!
Thinking of these now brings back childhood memories.... some I wish I could forget lol

This thread is hilarious.
So, I found all the games you guys have mentioned on YouTube and made a post at gamehounds.net with links to all these games.
If we get more suggestions, I may add another post or something. But god, some of these clips are just freaking mindblowing!!

Resident Evil voice acting was so bad it was good. It had B-movie voice acting but it fit very well into the game.

Nobody have mentioned House of the dead series. Since the 2 and 3 where released on the Wii a while back, i had the chance to finally play trough the games.

OH CRAP... hate to say it... but what about Shenmue?
Now I know this is about Voice Acting.. but how about annyoning ones.. Like Both Burnout 3 and Paradise... they didn't need DJ Stryker nor Atomika, f*cking annoying as hell!
